While eagerly waiting for the Meeting to start we left here, with the help from the University of Porto TVU, a series of podcasts about the meeting.

Here you will find interviews with the presidents of the organizing societies (AMS, EMS and SPM) and also with some of the speakers.

Note that some of the videos are available in Portuguese while most of them are in English. We hope you enjoy them.

Our tuk tuks are for 6 persons each and we have several tours all around the city. 

Oporto Historic Centre Walk

The walk takes us through the historic centre of Oporto. We start at the Clérigos (Clerics) tower, walk through the old Jewish quarter to a spot with excellent views next to Vitória church, down to the pedestrianised Rua das Flores (Flowers Street) where we stop for refreshments at the Mercearia das Flores (sells regional produce only -  do not ask for a Coca-Cola!).

Social Program

The conference banquet on June 11th will be held at Herança Magna/Happy Discover, Rua de Serpa Pinto, 239, Antiga Calçada das Freiras, Vila Nova de Gaia,
GPS: N 41.13473 / W -8.61827. The buses to the banquet will start leaving at 18h45 from the Faculty of Sciences (FCUP) at the Conference Bus Stop and from Seminário de Vilar.
